Susan's brother was shot on their farm and that is when they left Ireland to settle in Liverpool. I have it that George P Gerrard married Susan Stone in 1919 at Edge Hill, St. Cyprian's church. This is just a short walk from where the Gerrard's formerly lived in 32 Clint Road.
